Ibrahima AIDARA

Ibrahima Aidara is a Senegalese economist with a strong interest in development financing, public policy and innovation, as well as in connecting local communities to national and global policies and programs.

Dr. Aidara has worked for the Open Society – Africa office for the past ten years, holding various positions. He was Deputy Executive Director of Open Society Africa between 2022 and 2024, and Executive Director of OSIWA between 2019 and 2022. Prior to this, Aidara managed OSIWA’s Economic Governance and Development Program (EGAP) between 2013 and 2019.
