Our first decade of participatory intervention research has been formidable in terms of the quantity and quality of knowledge creation and the richness of collaboration. What gives the team the greatest satisfaction is the feeling of having produced research that is useful in many fields, and capable, if supported and implemented, of changing the lives of thousands or even millions of people. The work we’ve done is inspiring for many other African countries, especially French-speaking ones.
By 2030, we aspire to accompany decision-makers and society in the digital transformation, the green transition and the opportunities offered by open science to make the University a melting pot of knowledge and expertise, an ecosystem in which knowledge is co-constructed with other segments of society and innovative solutions are shaped to inject transformative momentum into all sectors.
