Abstract

This seminar will look back at the history of terrorism since the French Revolution, examining its various manifestations. It will also be an opportunity to examine the notion of “Terrorism” and its multiple definitions.

Biography

Ndèye Khady DIOP has a degree in public communication and political science, and is currently a doctoral student in political science at the Université Gaston Berger (UGB). Passionate about issues relating to terrorism and public and political communication, her thesis is entitled: Construction et déconstruction du discours djihadiste: analyse de la place de la communication dans la lutte contre le terrorisme islamiste. She is currently a junior research assistant in the LASPAD Seminars program.
