African regionalism: dynamics, challenges and perspectives in a globalized world
Quick access
Abstract
The seminars organized by LASPAD explore the dynamics of regionalism in Africa, analyzing the institutions involved, integration strategies, and challenges encountered. Emphasis is placed on the role of regional organizations, states, economic actors, and civil society in building a more coherent regional space.
The discussions highlight obstacles to integration, including political fragmentation, economic challenges, and governance issues. Areas for improvement are proposed to strengthen cooperation between stakeholders and promote more effective regional development.
