Biography
Ayrton Aubry holds a PhD in political science, specializing in international relations, from Sciences Po (France) and Columbia University (United States). His work focuses on the history of African international relations and the contemporary modalities of inclusion of West African and Sahelian states in multilateralism (UN, G20, BRICS, etc.), particularly Senegal. He also studies the conditions of production of scientific knowledge in International Relations from Senegal. His articles have appeared in the CODESRIA Bulletin, in the Revue d’Histoire Contemporaine de l’Afrique, and in the Annuaire Français des Relations Internationales. He teaches several courses related to international relations at Cheikh Anta Diop University. At LASPAD, Ayrton Aubry is scientific director of the “Africa and International Relations” research axis.
