Biography

Bineta Bocoum is a Social Worker, holder of a graduate degree in communication. After sixteen (16) years of professional practice in the regions (1998-2013), in health education with field experience and six (06) years at the central level including five (05) years in the preparation and response to epidemics and disasters
Bineta Bocoum had to:

• conduct field training in IEC/CCC/CCS/C4D strategy applied to all health programs

• monitor the activities of OCBs within the framework of health programs

• design spots and host health radio and TV shows

• ensure the implementation and monitoring-evaluation of policies and programs

of IEC/CCC/CCS/C4D;
• design communication tools for health promotion
• develop and participate in the development of communication plans for health promotion
• provide training on communication for development (C4D)
• conduct training for civil society organizations on the prevention of diseases with epidemic potential (Ebola virus, Shikungunya, Zika, etc.)
• train service providers on communication for development (C4D)
• support the social inclusion of people living with disabilities.
Since May 2016, she has managed communications at the Health Emergency Operations Center (COUS)
