Biography
Anthropologist and sociologist, Cheikh Sadibou Sakho is a teacher-researcher in the sociology section (eq.department) of the UFR de Lettres et sciences humaines at the Université Gaston Berger (UGB) in Saint-Louis.
In addition to the question of the uses of nature to which he devoted his doctoral and postdoctoral research, he is interested in social innovations related to access to energy and the social issues of energy in the context of climate change. At the same time, he is an expert and trainer in gender and development, gender-sensitive budgeting, gender and energy and positive masculinities. In this capacity, he also teaches in the training program, via e-learning, of the Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in gender and development at IHEID.
