Mame-Penda BA is Associate Professor of Political Science at the Université Gaston Berger de Saint-Louis (Senegal).
Pr. BA is co-founder and Director of LASPAD where she is notably editor-in-chief of the Global Africa magazine of the eponymous program.
She is also Secretary of the African Studies Association for Africa (ASAA) and co-editor of the CIHA blog (Critical Investigations into Humanitarianism in Africa), a partner of LASPAD.
A member of several international research networks, her work covers the sociology of religion, the analysis of public action (research, health, gender, decentralization, security) and the recomposition of the state in Africa. She is also co-editor of the CIHA blog (Critical Investigations into Humanitarianism in Africa).
