Moustapha Ngom

Moustapha Ngom is a geographer by training in the Geography Department of Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar. He is a specialist in human geography and has a Master’s degree in Space, Society and Development, specializing in Urban Planning and Management in Africa. He works on environmental issues in geography, a theme structured around a few major concepts at the heart of the interactions that link nature and society. These interactions can provide possible answers to environmental challenges and sustainable development issues. His career in the Geography Department has allowed him to work on several current geography issues, namely migration, governance, sustainable development, identity, energy issues, environment and risks, globalization, decentralized cooperation, as well as other key issues in geography such as GIS, cartography, etc.
