Ndèye Laïty NDIAYE

Biography

Ndèye Laïty Ndiaye is a sociologist and community organizer who presents herself above all as a creator of links. She currently works as an advisor on gender equality and strengthening the economic power of women and youth for the “Africa Region” (Benin, Rwanda, Senegal, Burkina Faso). She is also a lecturer at Saint Paul University (Ottawa).

Her teaching focuses on feminist and anti-colonial movements. Involved in several groups, Laïty is a founding member of the Jàma collective, which launched #DeetDuWaaw #SiifNaDakk, an awareness campaign and identification of community strategies to combat sexual violence in Senegal.
