Ousmane Thiam

Ousmane Thiam is a Master 2 student in Political Science, International Studies program and at the same time a Master 2 professional in Peace and Security at the Gaston Berger University of Saint-Louis. After having spent time as an intern at the Ministry of African Integration and Foreign Affairs, notably at the General Directorate of Support for Senegalese Abroad of yesteryear, the current DSE, he is also a distance intern at the African Center for Studies and Research on Migration (CAERM), affiliated with the African Union in migration matters. Member of the Laboratory of the Study and Research Group on Migration and Social Facts (GERM-UGB), he is currently within the Laboratory for the Analysis of Societies and Powers / Africa-Diasporas (LASPAD), where he holds the position of Project Assistant on the International Relations axis. These are his areas of expertise, particularly in the context of international cooperation and migration diplomacy in Senegal.
