Doctor from the School of Advanced Studies in Social Sciences (Paris), lecturer at Gaston Berger University (Senegal). Having taught at Sciences Po Lyon (France, 2017) and the University of Perpignan (France, 2007-2015), he also lectures at Saint-Louis University in Brussels (Belgium, since 2015). Holding degrees in sociology, anthropology, and religious studies, he is a researcher and administrator at the Laboratory for the Analysis of Societies and Powers Africa/Diasporas (UGB), where he coordinates the African Observatory of Religion.
His current research focuses on knowledge production, artificial intelligence, democracy and youth, human security, conflicts, and war crimes in Africa.
Author of several articles and books, he is also a consultant, international expert, and member of various scientific associations.
