Abstract
The monthly seminar series “Samm Sunuy Données” is an initiative by the LASPAD (Laboratory for the Analysis of Societies and Powers Africa-Diasporas) at Gaston Berger University in Saint-Louis, as part of its research program ProDP-Africa. The series focuses on issues related to the protection of personal data.
The main theme will be broken down into specific sub-themes to facilitate contributions from diverse profiles and key stakeholders in the fields of digital technology and data protection. This approach aims to foster a deeper understanding of the challenges and stakes in this area.
The seminars will take place over a period of six months, from September 2024 to February 2025.
Biography
Abdoulaye Cissé joined LASPAD in February 2022 as a research assistant as part of the ProDP-AFRICA program. A doctoral student in Private Law at the Gaston Berger University of Saint-Louis, he currently holds the position of project manager for the seminars initiated by LASPAD.
