The Laboratory for the Analysis of Societies and Powers / Africa – Diasporas (LASPAD) is pleased to invite you to an online seminar entitled:
“The Architecture of Tombouctou: Heritage and Construction Techniques.”
This event will provide an opportunity to explore in depth the traditional skills that have shaped Tombouctou architectural heritage. Particular attention will be paid to the historical and cultural value of its mausoleums and mosques, while highlighting the contemporary challenges associated with their conservation.
