In sub-Saharan Africa and more particularly in West Africa, beyond the successive reforms of the educational systems inherited since independence, families are exploring new educational models. We are interested in emerging forms of solidarity following these systemic changes and their social and economic impacts, particularly in Senegal. Our transdisciplinary research thus addresses questions such as education within reconfigured families and mobility, different forms of educational models and educational innovation, secularism and religious education. The objective of this action research is to contribute to the improvement of educational systems as a sustainable development issue by providing public policy decision-makers with insight into the needs and expectations of families.
