This seminar is an opportunity to define the concepts of cyber resilience and quantum data security, analyze the issues and challenges involved in data protection, and raise awareness of cyber risks.

Biography

Djiby Sow is Professor of Mathematics, Cryptography and Information Security (CAMES 2012). He is a lecturer and researcher in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the Faculty of Science and Technology, Cheikh Anta Diop University (UCAD) in Dakar. He leads the research group on Discrete Mathematics and Cybersecurity (MDC). Additionally, he serves as an external expert for ANAQ-Sup, evaluating higher education institutions.
Professor Sow is the President of the Senegalese Association for Information Security (ASSI-Cybersecurity) and a member of the National Commission on Mathematics. He has (co-)supervised numerous doctoral theses in cryptography, algebra, and information security.
He is a co-organizer of the International Conference on Cryptography (Africacrypt), which is indexed in several journals and proceedings. He also serves as the national coordinator for the African Research Pole PRAIMS, funded by the Simons Foundation.
