The Laboratory for the Analysis of Societies and Powers / Africa – Diasporas (LASPAD) is pleased to invite you to an online seminar on the theme: “The Impact of the Infrastructure Deficit on the Economic Integration of the AfCFTA.” The realization of a vast African single market, promoting the free movement of goods, services, capital, and people, faces a major obstacle: the infrastructure deficit. Poorly maintained roads, inadequate rail networks, and weak energy and digital infrastructure all hinder the smooth flow of intra-African trade.
Therefore, it is legitimate to ask: How does the infrastructure deficit impede the effective implementation of the AfCFTA?
