Biography
Abdelaziz Benjouad, professor of higher education in life and health sciences, plays a key role within the Steering Committee of the journal Global Africa, where he contributes to the definition of strategic orientations, particularly regarding research science and innovation. Vice-president of research and development and dean of the College of Health Sciences at the International University of Rabat (UIR), he chairs the research council and the scientific commission of the university, steering the implementation of research, innovation, and technology transfer activities.
Abdelaziz Benjouad is also involved on the international scene as president of the L’Oréal-UNESCO Maghreb jury for women and science and a member of the international jury for the “Rising Talents” program. His vast experience, combined with high-level training, notably at the Pasteur Institute in Paris and Sorbonne University, enriches the Global Africa Steering Committee, which thus benefits from valuable expertise in health sciences and policy.
