Cheikh THIAM

Cheikh Thiam is a full professor in the English and African Studies departments at Amherst College. His research focuses on African epistemologies as well as postcolonial and decolonial studies. He also served as associate editor of Research in African Literatures, the leading journal of African literature in the United States, and was editor of the African Studies Review, the official publication of the African Studies Association.
