Ibrahima AIDARA

Ibrahima Aidara is a Senegalese economist with a strong interest in development financing, public policy and innovation, as well as in connecting local communities to national and global policies and programs.

Dr. Aidara has worked for the Open Society – Africa office for the past ten years, holding various positions. He was Deputy Executive Director for Open Society Africa between 2022 and 2024, Executive Director of OSIWA between 2019 and 2022. Before that, Aidara managed OSIWA’s Economic Governance and Development Program (EGAP) between 2013 and 2019.
