Ousseynou GUEYE

Biography

Ousseynou Gueye, PhD candidate in History, affiliated with the ETHOS Doctoral School (Study of Man and Society) at Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar (UCAD). His area of expertise is the history of international and strategic relations. His thesis is titled “The Evolution of Trade Relations Between Senegal and Mali from 1960 to the 2000s.” He is a research assistant at the Laboratory for the Analysis of Societies and Powers / Africa – Diasporas (LASPAD), where he conducts research on BRICS+ and works on issues related to intra-community trade within the ECOWAS region, as well as geopolitics of Africa’s natural resources.
