Reda Benkirane, a sociologist and doctor in philosophy (study of systems), has a dual background as a social science researcher and an expert in international affairs.His multidisciplinary approach, empirical knowledge and publications are all based on a methodological approach which relies on the heuristics of dialogue (as a path to knowledge otherwise out of reach), sustained attention to otherness, diversity and singularity, the understanding of nonlinear and contradictory phenomena, deep listening and participant observation.
