Présentation
The Laboratoire d’Analyse des Sociétés et Pouvoirs / Afrique – Diasporas (LASPAD) is pleased to invite you to an online seminar on the theme: “UNCTAD support to Africa: Perspectives on UNCTAD16”. The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) is a unique international organization within the multilateral landscape. It was created by countries of the Global South (members of the G77) in 1964, with the quickly-affirmed mandate of proposing an alternative to the international order resulting from the Bretton Woods institutions (notably the IMF and the World Bank). Today, UNCTAD provides technical support to countries in the Global South to better link international trade with human development.
